We are thrilled to welcome artist Vicki Lee to the lodge for an Encaustic Monoprinting Workshop. Using wax pastel crayons, rice paper and a hotplate, you will create a series of encaustic monoprints on paper, ready to frame. No art experience is needed for this fun workshop where we will explore the medium of wax, as we will draw with crayons on a hotplate and imprint the image onto rice paper. You will build this image over multiple printings onto paper into a colorful, dimensional, textural wax painting.
